Kinda crazy it took so much debate to admit what anyone with a conscience can see clearly

I agree with you in principle, but I’m actually glad Wikipedia took their time on this. Makes them seem more credible and trustworthy. Especially when people still accuse them of bias all the time.

Wikipedia is a free for all with the last say from a moderator who may or may not be biased. Most of them from are from the west want to shape their own version of history while staying under the radar using biased sources.

This was a case where they couldn’t just sway away from the thousands of videos, news, and reports by independent international organizations. If all the news networks and social media were from the west, they would have very much swept it under the rug.

They’re only speaking out now because their hypocrisy is now in the open.

Where’s all this hate against Wikipedia from? First off Wikipedia moved the article from “Allegations…” to "Gaza genocide back in May 2024, not just now. Secondly, moderators (assuming you mean administrators) do not have more say than others in content decisions. Thirdly, what you’re describing is referred to within WP as https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NPOV_dispute#POV_pushing, and I do not see any failings of the current procedure to address this.

Where’s all this hate against Wikipedia from?

          From:

Most of them from are from the west want to shape their own version of history…

AKA Wikipedia writing something specific people don’t want to hear, therefore the Wikipedia system must be fundamentally broken and biased.

Wikipedia is far from perfect, but they are cognisant of that. That’s kinda the point. English Wikipedia undoubtedly has a Western slant too, but that doesn’t nullify their system that’s held up reasonably well as the internet burns down around them.
