This movie hasn’t finished shooting? Wasn’t it announced last year?
How do you add someone to the cast of a movie if the filming has wrapped? I’m so confused.
My guess is they just revealed that he filmed some scenes for the movie. By the time we heard about it, they already completed filming.

That would make sense. Filming is done but the cartoon characters don’t have their (unnecessarily celebrity) voices added in yet. These scenes were probably filmed with stand ins.
