  • If the MCU finds a way to fold in some of the Sonyverse, I wouldn’t mind a Midnight Sons film with Leto’s Morbius, Nic Cage as an elder Johnny Blaze, Moon Knight, Werewolf, Man-Thing, and Bloodstone. Drop Cumberbatch in for a little Strange Exposition, and you’d have to spray bitter apple on the props and scenery.

That’s the dream. It’s why Morbius was so frustrating as he makes a great member of the Midnight Sons, the Legion of Monsters and Marvel Zombies, as well as a dark contrast to more upbeat heroes like Spider-Man - him opposite Tom Holland would be great. Films like Kraven have been a waste of a good Spider-Man villain but Morbius is a far more versatile character. Just imagine his first meeting with Blade! Tonnes of potential.

  • for Baldoni to point this out is perhaps an admission of guilt?

Yeah, I don’t think they’ve thought this one through. They are basically saying: “that character who is comes across as an annoying douchebag but claims to be a feminist as a cover for them being a dick, is totally based on me.”

I didn’t know who he was but understood it as a jab at a certain type of guy. If he thinks it is based on him, that may say more about him that the script. I imagine folks in Hollywood run across such oily creeps 10 times a day.

  • Plenty:

On Saturday, more than four months after the film’s release, the New York Times published an 80-page complaint filed in California that made a range of allegations against Baldoni – including sexual harassment on set and a co-ordinated PR campaign to damage Lively’s reputation afterwards.

At one point during production, the complaint alleges, things were so bad that a meeting was held to address the actress’s claims of a hostile work environment, which Reynolds also attended. One demand was that there be “no more showing nude videos or images of women to Lively, no more mention of Baldoni’s alleged previous ‘pornography addiction’, and no more discussions about sexual conquests in front of Lively”.

Other allegations made in the complaint include Baldoni and the film’s lead producer, Jamey Heath, repeatedly violating physical boundaries and making sexual or inappropriate comments to Lively; Baldoni improvising unwanted kissing during acting scenes; Heath showing Lively a video of his wife naked; and both men entering her trailer uninvited while she was in a state of undress.
