My friends and I started playing again recently, trying to de-rust in preparation for Wilds.
Which a side complaint: of all the names they could have possibly chosen why would they choose another ‘W’ for the name
The W name feels intentional to me- they didn’t want to call it World 2 but it works for people abbreviating it MHW2.

Every one of those got confused about the title and thought it’s the new one.
Doubtful. It’s been discounted pretty heavily recently. And I believe it was also included in a bundle or two.
I had it for PS4, and it plays much more similar to Wilds than Rise, so I wanted to get back into the swing of things before Wilds.
Plus a steam sale
I bought it with iceborne when it was on sale recently on steam, I had a copy for PS4 but I’ve transitioned to just PC games at this point.
Because the game is an absolute banger from front to back. Praise be Capcom.
I bought it a few months back. Looking at my play time, I guess I didn’t care for it too much. Oh well, I guess it’s better to buy that on sale and see if you like it, than plopping down more money when the new one comes out.
