US scientists works in the same way.
Doing that will probably make it near impossible to get serviced, though.
The wording of the headline would be different if it were trying to convey that.
I think it’s a slightly different connotation. “China scientists” infers scientists residing in China while not presuming their ethnicity, while “Chinese scientists” implies their ethnicity but not their location.
EU governments are probably the only path to mainstream adoption for desktop Linux. If they all did it and invested in the features they needed, it could provide a valid option for mainstream office use.
At least we have something to be happy about in this hellscape.
At the end of the day, the future is written by human beings, and unless we have a collective vision of where we are trying to go, the darker forces among us will take control and do as they wish with us.
Despite him being a tech bro and everything, I do think we need more shows like Star Trek these days to show us what a functional future with technology could look like. I think the only examples we see any more in popular culture are dystopian, and I think we are starting to believe that those are the only possible outcomes of the path we are on. Even Star Trek these days is pretty dark.
We need to again try to imagine a world in which the better half of humanity succeeds.
Yeah they are throroughly vetted and work well, competitively priced. I’ve never seen a reason to switch.
Thanks.
Do any of those focus primarily on handwriting for input and support macOS, android, and windows for offline input?
Doesn’t really solve my OneNote problem, as I run it on no fewer than 7 macOS, windows, iOS, and android devices.
How do I know which one I’m using? Are you talking about the windows store one (tablet one) being the one that’s discontinued while the one that’s bundled with o365 (desktop version) being continued?
Until they make a proper upgrade to my surface 10, I will have no other choice but to stay on the windows 10 version.
I think I tried it once.
Thanks I didn’t know these existed!
It’s investment vs payoff. I want to get a feed up and running, then I can tailor it as needed. My feed from using starter packs at Bluesky ended up better than 10+ years at Twitter trying to follow people individually, mostly because I was able to oursource the work of finding people with an interest in certain things to people who have put in the time to do this manually which I don’t have the desire to do.
It may just be that the Twitter format isn’t a good fit for me, but it worked at Bluesky in a way it didn’t work anywhere else using that style of communication.
That takes a long time. I tried the same on Mastodon and ended up losing interest. I went to bluesky and just followed some starter packs and was up and running in less than an hour with 1000+ follows and a nice feed. Within a few weeks I had more than 700 followers myself.
I’ve beeen a Synology user for a long time, but their practices have become more and more anti consumer as time has gone on. To go from DSM 6 to DSM 7 I was meant to buy all my security station license again. I downgraded again, it was painful.
