Well thought out sabotage can be written off to causality or involuntary human error.

Not giving notice of lay off is an abusive work practice and only shows how far we’ve allowed work conditions to degrade.

And that practice itself can be highly dangerous, if we consider a person can be midway into a complex task that can turn extremely difficult to follow by another: waste of time, resources, energy and money.

I once tried to delete something I was not supposed to and the system was quite adamant on advising against it. The system was to be reinstalled so I was just trying things.

It’s been a while but I recall the system giving me a first warning that my command woud delete X, Y and Z, which could render the system inoperable.

The final warning was a sum of the potential damage I would do to the system and that it would be irreversible, without a full system install.

To the extent of my understanding, it is a form of slightly more sophisticated bot, as in an automated response algorithm, that is developed over a set of data, in order to have it “understand” the mechanics that make such set cohesive to us humans.

With such background, it is supposed to produce new similar outputs if given new raw data sets to run through the mechanics it acquired during development.
