These are the most profitable and successful (and some say innovative) companies ever.
They can figure it out. It’s a will problem.

Isn’t it also tuned for each game individually? So it would be different iterations for every supported game.
I swear when it came out that they said devs would have to submit their games for training.
Reading the “article”, it doesn’t seem like that’s actually the case. It sounds more generic.
This is the same route they take when saying social media can’t be regulated. Small Businesses.
Be the community you want to lemmy.
Until they turn their gaze to it. I’m sure it’s trivial to block and monitor due to the federated/networked nature.
This is a weird response to the drone hysteria in New Jersey.
That’s not how open source is sposto work…
Hypocrisy!
I bet someone in Meta is saying to someone else right now:
“But the pride rainbow covers both of them and more!”
Fair enough.
The algorithm part is a sticky point for me, because it’s always been my contention that you could directly map most of the systemic issues of social media with the rise of engagement algorithms.
In other words, reverse chronological order is the only way to do healthy social media in my opinion. (Or maybe I should say, healthiest). Algorithms introduce too many pernicious incentives. They optimize everything around the worst things.
Most people love algorithms though. And it seems most people don’t want to trade algorithms away. A reason that many fall off mastodon is the lack of an algorithm.
Dude, you’re making it worse.
Does no one around here have a sense of decorum? This is the technology community.
Stop it.
I wouldn’t call reverse chronological order with blocks accounted for an algorithm.
Twitter didn’t always have an algorithm.
Mastodon does not have an algorithm. Or am I not being inclusive enough in my definition?
Microsoft should go to HR about that lunch.
It sorta partially is. On Apple’s movie store you get the 3D version with the HD/4K version. So if your movies anywhere unlocks the HD/4K it should unlock the 3D too. As long as the publisher has put the 3D version up there. And many did as a result of the Vision Pro.
I have a bunch of 3D movies available on my Vision Pro, and I’ve never specifically bought one in 3D. Many came from digital codes.
Apple has the largest collection of 3D movies right now.
The thing is, new content with proper 3D isn’t being made much these days. I’d estimate Apple has the bulk of what exists available already.
Edit: where am I wrong here?

They are also important for VR content. You need a lot of pixels to fill someone’s Field of View.
That’s true. I’m thinking of the subscribe/follow aspect.
I don’t think it has been proven that Loops is viable at scale yet.
