9 months agoIts weird because I loved dragon age origins and Pillars of eternity. I thought Wasteland 3 was ok.
I think with D:OS 2 I was annoyed that I didn’t choose a premade character at the start, and that the storyline was just, become a god. I don’t find that kind of narrative compelling. I also didn’t like the fairytale lighthearted vibes. The world didn’t feel “meaty” somehow.
Witcher 3. I don’t enjoy “dark” “gritty” stuff the way that I used to. I’m way more effected by some of the more explicit themes than I used to be. When I played it it was my only solace in a rough period of my life. I’d rather protect my fond memories than play it again, as I doubt it will mean as much to me now as then.
