20·5 days agoIt’s even worse for Europe. Prices start at €800 (~$866), making any talk about ‘MSRP-to-performance-ratio’ absolutely pointless.
Even the 9070XT was launched recently and after 30ish minutes, minimum prices went from €695 to €924 (~$1,001) in my country.
Fuck the GPU market.

Ah I forgot about Mario + Rabbids. I did buy that one, albeit second hand.
And I’ve heard good things about the Prince of Persia game before, but I refuse to give them any money. Mostly due to their business practices, sexual harassment suits and other misconduct.

So while factually an accurate headline, it’s implying something else. More accurate would be 13 years on, Ubisoft adds Steam achievements to original Assassin’s Creed III, with achievements coming to AC III Remastered soon too.

You can make an awesome game, if no streamer picks it up it will all be for nothing. Last year 18935 games released on Steam, that’s 52 games a day, being successful in that space isn’t just about making a quality product.
Yep. Best example I can think of is Among Us: 2018 release that got massively popular due to content creators during the covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
I do not blame developers for accepting funds to carry out their dreams instead of being thrown into the ocean of “let’s see if our years-long investment will pay itself back”. Epic grants guarantee that the game gets made.
If you want to play a game only on Steam, you’ll just have to wait. Can’t have it both ways.
Usually free games have twice the “sales” per review compared to paid games, so we’re looking at 80-90 * 51 = 4,080-4,590 “sales” provided all the reviews were legit. It’s not an exact science but a few thousand at least seems realistic.

It melted on both sides (PSU and GPU), which indicates it was probably the cable being the issue.
12VHPWR is a fucking mess, so please don’t tempt fate with your expensive purchase.
Haven’t seen a game that uses ads like this, but very good that it’s strictly prohibited now. That shit should never have taken off on mobile, but alas. At least we can prevent it on PC.
