I’m curious about the same thing, but also curious what you’re using your traditional hosting for. I also have had DH shared hosting for years and never had an issue. I don’t know if I’m ready to drop it, but not sure if I still need it.

My favorite is “lee” and “leeward.” Both have to do with something being down wind. The former is pronounced as it’s spelled, but the first syllable of the latter is pronounced “loo” or “lew.”
Of course, there’s also the Leeward Islands which are often (mis)pronounced as they’re spelled because most people don’t sail anymore!
Adding to this, at least publicly, they stated that regardless of the outcome, the situation highlighted changes that needed to be made within their organization. IIRC, they didn’t produce anything for bit while they “addressed the issues.” I recall a YT video of Linus explaining all that. Take it for what it’s worth.
Personally, I think it’s likely that something happened that offended a former employee. That thing may or may not have been a misunderstanding, but either way, the employee felt harassed. I can’t fault how LMG handled it. Any other company would’ve responded similarly. I’m not saying they did the “bare minimum.” I’m saying, to me, their response seemed reasonable.
So here’s the thing - this is not illegal, and there’s nothing wrong with that. People have a right to gather and exercise free speech. Now, where are the same meetings for Democrats!?
This is my problem with the Dems. They play this game like the same rules from 70 years ago are in play! Republicans are so much better at formulating a message and beating it into peoples’ heads over decades! Every poll taken on abortion rights indicate the majority of Americans want them and yet here we are! They won that one, and people gave them a victory lap with a clean sweep of congress and the Executive! Dems need to wake the fuck up and start playing to win like their opponents have been doing! That includes sessions like the Koch’s are having, and things like P2025.
As others have said, Linux Mint, Kubuntu, and Fedora are probably going to be your big three, though I would include openSUSE. All three are very well established and mostly stable (not Debian stable, but they all strike a good balance between stability and not running 2-year old releases!). All 4 of these will have extensive support communities, the SUSE is mainly popular in Europe if that matters. All of them are relatively user friendly for new users, too.
Personally, I prefer Fedora, but that’s mainly because most of my professional work is in Red Hat and it’s related distros. Finding a distro that suits you is part of learning Linux. Pick one and use it for awhile. Like others have said, separate out your home directory to its own partition so you can easily reinstall and keep your files. Distro-hopping is a time-honored tradition in the community! It’s unlikely that any distro will be “perfect” for you out of the box. You’ll have to make it your own, and that’s the beauty of it all: You can!
Feels like this could be helped immensely by a blurb at the top of his GitHub page pointing to a gofundme to help pay for a lawyer. If the case has legs, settle and move forward. If not, it should be trivial for an IP lawyer to get dismissed.

Also, generally speaking, I would agree that lawn is cut way too short, but again it depends on the grass. Bermuda kind of likes being kept short. St. Augustine looks better when it’s a bit longer.
Depends on the grass. Some go dormant in the colder months. Some don’t. In the south, St Augustine and Bermuda grasses are pretty popular. Both will go dormant if the area gets a decent winter. In the mid-Atlantic region, you’ll see tall Fescue handle winter just fine.
Strangely, I deleted them and reuploaded. Now they display fine. Might need to play with this a bit more.
This is a criminally underrated tip. Liquor boxes are seriously sturdy, and the size keeps you from overpacking them.
Also, I started with a pi, added a synology (a NAS is a game changer), and then moved almost all services off the synology to a Beelink S12 pro. Recently upgraded the S12 to 32GB of memory, and I have a 2tb ssd upgrade I have to do soon. All of this is over the past 2-years.
Two sites that really helped me get the basics of docker compose were Marius hosting and Dr Frankenstein’s docker guides. Both are focused more on synology, but the docker stuff works anywhere.
ETA: linuxserver.io is pretty handy, too.
If I understood correctly, he manually runs watchtower to poll rather than leaving it running all the time. What wasn’t clear to me was if he has it doing the updates (evidenced by him saying he cleans up where needed after) or just pull down the updated images and he then manually restarts/rebuilds the container.
I leave it running all the time and it only updates at something like 03:00. The only containers I don’t have set to latest are DBs as major updates tend to break things.
