Nicotine isn’t the only addictive substance in cigarettes. As someone who has quit both cigs and vaping, it was by far easiest to quit vaping. It absolutely sucked - but nothing compared to going off tobacco. I still get massive cravings if I smell someone smoking nearby.

You’d love what one of my local stores does then - they give you the option to register your fingerprints after they check your ID for when you want to buy booze in the self checkout!

This method is far older than that, and it keeps popping up every so often as a “new” attack. First time I read about this method was in the early 2000’s, and I’m pretty sure it been done before that as well.
