Exactly. For me it was a nice action flick, nothing more (I quite like the wolf-dancing theme though), but also a technological revolution. I would compare it to my beloved Jurassic Park - simple action plot, perfect execution with revolutionary effects.

Well, it’s not Marvel Marvel, it’s Sony Marvel. In the context of other Sony live-action it makes a lot of sense.

This is absolutely awsome. The style is so good. I need this at home.

It’s one of the films I keep going back to in my mind. So clever. The way it makes one root for the main character and the emotional uprising, only to be, in the end, made aware of the awful things emotions can do. The ending makes you reconsider whether the unnatural emotionless society at the beginning could actually be a preferable solution despite the imperfection. It’s so good.

I think there’s some kind of general fascination with rich people ingrained naturally in the human mind. It’s not just in comics. It’s present in many fairy tales, mythology, religious books…

Iagree it can help the rich to get away with things. But I also think it’s not fair to blame authors for using good old archetypes, while I also support kindhearted critique of those archetypes - it’s important to understand their role in social context and to make authors aware of the downsides.

I should add that you can have many dysfunctional genes in your DNA without having any health problems if the genes regulate something optional like hair color and not vital like proper muscle production. So you can have lots of dysfunctional genes without having any medical dysfunction.

When the cell tries to make a protein based on the mutated sequence, it produces a protein that cannot be used for any purpose in the body or it cannot produce the protein at all.
