Tunic!
The “final” puzzle took a whole page of paper. It was brilliant
Totally agree. Im only about 2k~ hrs in since the einhar league. Probably about $100-$200 as well.
There’s simply no way im not getting my moneys worth from poe2 as well. Even if i only play it for like 40hrs thats more than enough for $30
I still play diablo 3 sometimes. Or hell even d2. I played d4 after a bit when it was clear it wasnt a complete craphsoot. Probably have a couple hundred hours in it. Was a fun game, but it cant hold a candle to my nostalgia-glasses sadly so I’ve “beat” it.
I dont see myself ever going back to it unless they add enough content that can justify another purchase. The new expac aint it for me.
Poe is f2p and if i dont play it for a year, theres 3~ new patches/expacs/seasons worth of content.
Ill gladly spend another $10-20+ on it for another hundred or two hours no question. At no point do i feel like i NEED to spend money though and thats the point.
Id rather buy 5 indie games than a d4 expac kinda thing.
Indeed.
That said, if you spent a certain amount of money in PoE1 over its entire lifetime, you dont have to pay which is nice.
Specially since both are f2p as well. So everyone can be included if you dont want to spend a dime.
The more hilarious part to me is having pay2beta in a fully priced game.
What was it, $100 for d4? Gotta buy the base game + beta access when it came out?
Unfortunately no (unless thats a new unannounced feature in this installment) They help/follow you around during missions like a buddy/partner. That said, they have different armors and their own “character creator” so you can customize and dress up your own lil guy.
Reminds me of a mix between diablo (the old one lol) and vampire slayer. Been playing it since it was only a couple maps and it’s definitely worth it if you like vampire survivor-esqe games.
Yeah, the “let no one else use it” portion of my comment is what i meant when you say “patent owners are generally more than happy to license their tech”
I hope ford doesn’t.
And yes while patents dont grant exclusivity it gives a company the option to try and argue that a competitors version isnt novel enough. In the USA, where ford is from, patent law screwery is abounds if you have enough money. Of which Ford is backed by the US government.
Im not here to point out whether or not the patent is the issue. The problem is the spying and selling of personal data. If ford proceeds in a way that limits that exposure to the rest of car manufacturers then fantastic, even if its only in a nominal way.
I do still appreciate your refresher on how patents work though! Hope the rest of your day goes well.
Honestly good. Let no one else use that technology. Then all i have to do is not buy a ford.
That said, if you plug your phone into your car, this tech is already in place lol.
Remember to wait for the golden ultra edition on PC at 50% off before buying or you’ll miss all the dlc and 2 different versions with 20% of the content they cut out of the base game!
I think it comes down to what you said, but for the obscenely rich.
A pro has failed more than a beginner has tried. The obscenely rich have been told ‘yes’ more than the poor have had the opportunity to even ask questions.
You can learn this type of failed behavior just like a bad habit, and boy howdy is he the master of it.
