I mean, for localized pages maybe. Probably best to stick it under the “dumb stupid politics” section, though.

Just because a counterargument exists does not mean it is meaningful.
“Nuh-uh” is a counterargument. It’s just one relegated to grade school playgrounds and internet discussions.
Plenty of verified people provide disinformation and trolling. There’s an entire American cable news channel dedicated to it. Several now, really.
The problem isn’t that people spread disinformation, it’s that people believe it without verifying. We need to increase peoples ability to utilize critical thinking skills, not somehow stem the unending tide of bullshittery.
There will always be snake oil salesman seeking to profit off the gullibility of the general public. The solution isn’t to kill all the salesman, it’s to teach people to be less gullible.
So don’t comment at all.
You could always save it and watch it later if you actually give a shit.

At least two major MMOs have the player being the “main” character, FF14 and WoW both treat the player character (and their friends) as the “hero” (and their party). I’m sure others do the same, but honestly I never get far enough into them to find out.
You’d almost certainly not be Aloy, but that doesn’t mean you’re not the main protagonist of the story in the game.
Quality isn’t necessarily measured by desire. One can enjoy something they never desired before it existed. And one can loathe something they always desired before it was made, see the Warcraft movie (for me, at least).
Well… not at first.
They basically endorsed Trump with their latest stunt. Pretty sure they’re shouting the “quiet part” right now.
You can’t turn your TV sideways without a lot of headache and potential damage, though.
I mean, I get your overall point, but the initial analogy doesn’t quite work.
You mean like how Steam does with the Steam Deck?
Consoles these days are basically just PCs with limited development criteria. But a much much narrower library.
Ironically I stopped drinking soda because Pepsi got rid of the only soda I really liked.
Being able to bring your console to someone else to play couch co-op with them makes developing that style much more appealing.
What are the pros and cons you’re considering, and how do they compare to the pros and cons of a Nintendo console?
Partial backwards compatibility, based on their asterisk, at least.
To be fair, it wasn’t especially popular with anyone.
Playing by someone else’s rules means they dictate the conversation. You have significantly less power. If you want people to act like adults, like reasonable people, try treating them that way.
It may not work, but it’s far more likely to do so than constantly talking down to them.
Do you habitual judge people entirely on their fuckability? I mean, I have little opinion of Asmongold except what I see other people saying about him on the internet, but that seems like a weirdly sexualized take on things.
It didn’t pop, but it did release a bunch of hot air while hilariously zipping randomly around the room making a raspberry sound.
