Buy one for the living room, oled or standard. Then, if requests / frustrations about playing asynchronously piles up. Consider buying another for the most invested of all. Take physical copies also. They’re easier to share.
Things like this actually makes me sad because you know who to blame for the games failure yet you also know who will take the blame and who will leave with a golden parachute.
I’d much rather see meta burn money into the fun project that is VR rather than AI or crypto.
Alternatives😏
I’ve spent a good part of my life downloading my music and using mp3 playing apps. On time I downloaded Spotify to add songs to a shared playlist with friends. I figured I might try the app since I have it installed.
This is the worst music playing app in the world. (I was on free tier) How could anyone see this and think “oh yeah I will pay a subscription to this service”. Seriously
Was about to post something about it… Apparently I’m one of you guys :'(
Oopsie doopsie
At this rate, they’ll invent a portal gun
While I see this as one of the rare nice use of IA, if the use is just to fact check some text found on the web. It could also just fetch it on the site instead of using an AI.
Might be overkill to use LLMs here I think…
The type of shit you’d see on a movie
That’s horrendous but in their head, having you have an app on your home screen is a constant reminder of their brand. “free” advertisement
What’s TB?
Yes and no, smartphone where affordable for more people than the vision pro. Also they solved real problem. In the case of the apple iphone, it was a combination of a lot of tools into one small device so that was nice. The apple vision is just a different VR headset marketed as 10x the price of a meta headset.
Microsoft ain’t no competitor, they don’t play fair at all. Not like the others do. But they don’t even make good games. They just buy random stuff and hope windows stays the only platform where gamers go. Which should change with steam. Microsoft won’t die, I don’t think so, but they’ll have to work a bit more than what they did the last decade.
