It’s all too fragmented now. I don’t want to commit to any of it. Each platform is 90% garbage and 10% good. You basically have to pay for ten services now just to have a wealth of good content available. It’s easier to just fill my thumb drive up with the content I want.

I’ve always had a fondness for the original Call of Duty single-player campaign. I don’t even care for that series, but the original had a phenomenal campaign.

Same. I really enjoyed what I played of it (~4 hours), but as one of the biggest fans of the franchise on this planet, I am torturing myself instead by postponing my first playthrough until A-life is properly implemented. It’s worth the wait. I’ve waited this long already. For now, I’ve gone back to my long-term Anomaly character and have been having a fucking blast.

STALKER and The Elder Scrolls probably hold the record. I may have wasted even more time in my life on World of Warcraft, but I feel like that doesn’t count since you’re just in a fucking trance for several years until you finally break away.

Surprised the headline didn’t use the word “quietly”, since that seems to be the most popular buzzword this year.

I believe his father was fairly ambiguous in the original film. I don’t know that he was ever intended to be Maximus’ son, but be did have a bond with Lucius, and be was definitely implied to be an old lover and likely a mashing buddy of his mother’s.

It can, but it comes out more like “ROOVE ARONG RITIZEN!”

Being an entomologist would be sweet as hell. You walk into the lab on a Tuesday morning and Jerry, a gray-bearded researcher with spectacles and a friendly demeanor is like, “Hey, come over here, Kevin. Come look at this bug.”, and you go over there and see the coolest fucking bug.

I miss the classic era of DAoC and still hum various town music to this day. Cotswold being the most recurring.

It might be. It’s hard to remember. Two characters are waiting on supplies somewhere and they see the headlights way off suddenly come complete stop. After a while they know something’s up and they go to investigate, and wind up finding the truck half destroyed, with the driver’s hands still gripping the wheel and the rest of his body devoured by the little zergling guys. I feel like you might get to see a flashback from the driver’s perspective too, but again, it’s been so many years.

The scene where the truck’s headlights in the distance come to a stop in the night used to scare the absolute shit out of me as a kid. I don’t know why it was so horrifying. Left a lot to the imagination, I guess. Then you see the aftermath.

In Michigan’s lower peninsula we had Devil’s Night on the eve before Halloween, where teenagers would wreak havoc on pumpkins and egg or T.P. property, but I’ve never heard of this.

I’d say Bandits, but he’s only worthy of the Renegades.

I’ve yet to find a game that properly rolls in a distant storm that eventually grows into an intense one. They tend to come on very quickly and escalate to 10 in about 20 seconds.

I went through a brief Asmongold phase about a year or two ago where I enjoyed just listening to him rant and bitch (mostly) about the video game industry. He was surprisingly articulate at times and not quite how I had perceived him. I watched him take a political alignment test and he was dumbfounded that he was fairly left-wing. I thought that might be a turning point for him, but then election season came around and he went right back to being an obnoxious Trump-supporting Texan. I don’t think Asmongold even knows who he is deep down or what he stands for. I think he just spews vomit from his brain and doubles-down on all of it because he’s incapable of dropping an argument or admitting he was wrong. It’s kind of his shtick, but I’m long since done with it.

I know enough about him to attempt a deep-dive into his psyche in regards to his decrepit home, his mother’s death and his unwillingness to seperate from his lifestyle, but at the end of the day his sad circumstances unfortunately don’t excuse the abborant shit he sometimes says.
