It just means the opposite of low-key. The logic kinda tracks. I can’t imagine why it would be banned.
Niagara Falls and Nebraska. Any children whose names start with N - sorry little Neighthan, Nanceigh, and Naruto.
I don’t think anybody hates real-time combat. That feels like a strawman.
I do, but just because I have a disability that makes more button presses painful and turn-based tends to have fewer per hour. I also know others who dislike real-time because they’re bad at it. I agree with your sentiment completely, though. Liking real-time isn’t exclusive of also enjoying turn-based.
Not op, but I love tea; however, if the restaurants I frequent started replacing their drinks with a new lineup that ultimately all boiled down to variations on Darjeeling, I’d eventually find myself tired of it.
Yeah, it’s a few years away from being ready. Plus the dumb shits need to backpedal on this “cameras for everything!” idiocy.
I’m surprised the taxis aren’t being driven remotely while Musk lies about their amazing AI or whatever.
That would require their self driving algorithm to actually detect an accident. I doubt it’s capable of doing so consistently.
It might even make smarter decisions. The last few companies I worked for had total morons for CEOs, but they sure maximized short-term profit (by burning the company down).
Many miss that Musk’s companies don’t have any measure of success because of him, but instead have it despite him. A lot of intelligent people work for SpaceX and Tesla. Imagine what they could and would do if they didn’t have a petulant man-baby constantly interfering.
I still like FF12, although I’ve never beaten it. I had no idea people disliked it.
Instant micro plastics: just add seawater!
I got laid off in January, still looking! Zero interview so far. I’m sorry to hear others are having a rough time too, although it’s a bit of a relief to know I’m not just super toxic or something.
1+ for koreader, it’s so much better than the stock Kindle reader.
Likely both. I used to be involved in creating educational material for employers. First, voiceover artists were replaced with shockingly low quality AI models. This was about two years ago. Training prices didn’t drop and no employers complained.
The industry experts we’d pay for consultation were increasingly replaced with ChatGPT queries. Information was sometimes wrong but the employers purchasing these trainings would catch and correct it (for free) in the proofing process. Prices stayed the same, employers still didn’t complain.
After launching trainings, we’d monitor engagement. When asking relatively simple questions that anyone who paid attention would be able to answer immediately, the average response time was initially about 2-3 minutes, then about 60-90s for subsequent questions. They were likely finding ChatGPT and using it to answer the questions. We shared these findings and, you guessed it, employers didn’t care.

Good news: a Switch emulator already exists.
I believe you’re 100% right. I didn’t attend many, probably most, of my lectures as they’re completely useless for me - I simply don’t learn well from listening and frantically taking notes. It was much faster and more effective to read the material and interact with it in some way, usually rewording and condensing it into a study guide. The few classes I did attend either had mandatory attendance, so I just ignored the lecture and did my own thing during that time, or the class was significantly interactive so I actually learned from it.
