Talos Principle is a great puzzle solving game, but I did get tired of the back story and just started skipping it. If I wanted to be depressed I won’t be playing puzzle games.
Not if you have a slightly older Nvidia GPU. I am seeing 10%-15% lower frame rates in many of the games I tested.

I play games to relax and have fun. If a games has people crying, then I don’t think I would find that fun.
I almost always prefer SO answers because there was chance someone had the same issue I was seeing. Documentation only shows how things should work and dedicated forums are very hit or miss.
Does Torchlight count as a hidden gem? It is on sale for $3 on Steam right now.
That was a lot more boring then I thought it would be.
Game is 70$ on Steam US and has a very positive review. That is still too much money unless this is a game you were really looking forward to.

They are also larger then expected or needed. The one I see at work just barely fits in the parking spaces, width wise.
It looks really good. I wish they would include a video with more game play mechanics along with the promo video. I usually try to see a let’s play on utube before buying, but they sometimes have spoilers.
I figured the latency would be no greater then going out to default dns, maybe a bit less.

Open ended games, like Minecraft and NMS , can be really hard for people who only play ‘on rails’ type games to wrap their minds around. ‘Whats the point?’, the same one as in living your life.
Also, personal opinion, Stanley Parable is NOT a game. It is a walking simulator with a bunch of bad philosophy thrown in.
I think what he is implying is that current computer design will never be able to gain consciousness. Maybe a fundamentally different type of computer can, but is anything like that even on the horizon?
