Gene. I haven’t seen the other two, although I’ve heard negatives. Is there something that either of them (actors or movie) bring to the character?

Willy Wonka. Not too hard to see as a kid, but it was funny too so that masked some of it. Plus the latest theories that try to connect it to Snowpiercer. Granted the latter was likely designed around that idea and it doesn’t come from the first, but if you accept them as connected, that’s a dark world.
And of course Wizard of Oz. As a kid I saw it one way, read some of the Ozma books and they weren’t too weird. But then I read the real Oz books, and that’s dark.
Senior: “Yeah, we can’t change that because it will break everything.”
Stop. Don’t. Come back.
“Up to” is fine for this, as it’s a measure of capacity. It’s when it’s used as an expected norm like the ISPs do that it becomes more marketing than a rating. The requirement ought to be a known average of realistic usage and not a top end number.
Space is hard to get to, no gravity, and there’s radiation.
Underwater has high pressure, corrosion, and no natural lighting.
When you get an air leak in space, you find the hole and patch it. When you get a leak underwater, you don’t have to worry about it at all because it takes care of things in microseconds.
First glance I thought that was One Must Fall: 2097, but turns out below it doesn’t even get close to that epic level.
I’d love to know the breakdown of the 1531 votes for him. Some are probably straight Republican votes down the ballot, and a few ignorant of the news. But I’m sure some heard the news, and voted for him anyway with a shrug.
Alignment is short for goal alignment. Some would argue that alignment suggests a need for intelligence or awareness and so LLMs can’t have this problem, but a simple program that seems to be doing what you want it to do as it runs but then does something totally different in the end is also misaligned. Such a program is also much easier to test and debug than AI neural nets.
For LLMs specifically, or do you mean that goal alignment is some made up idea? I disagree on either, but if you infer there is no such thing as miscommunication or hiding true intentions, that’s a whole other discussion.
Not Arch though. It would say so.
Die Hard and A Christmas Story as always, but I’ve also added another one (not a movie), the Hawkeye series.
They’re called large language models for a reason, creating patterns of words is exactly what they do. And poetry would be “easier” to do better since a human reading it may try to find meaning where there isn’t. Unlike writing a story or something factual where a mistake is more obvious.
There’s other types of “small web” out there too.
That was my guess, I can’t get the page to load due to an error. Maybe AI’s fault too?
I believe it means existing links, which many are already gone. Not the ability to link.
I saw a discussion once about how difficult the idea of an accurate progress bar really is. Note how so many things now take the easier approach of a circular or other shape that shows activity without being tied to any particular time prediction. My preference is a combo progress bar with actual throughput numbers/graph, so you can tell if there’s really progress or some bottleneck that will make it longer.
There’s plenty of Youtube videos on it, no need for me to try and rehash what’s been done better by others.
