Gave it a screenshot of OSMand, got a creepy qoute
The image does not show any people; it is purely a navigational map highlighting a route. The time displayed on the map is 17:51:34, suggesting late afternoon or early evening. There is no additional information available about the device used to take the screenshot or the user’s intentions, making it impossible to determine their racial characteristics, ethnicity, age, economic status, or lifestyle. The emotional context of the image is neutral, as it is simply a visual representation of a traveled route.
Yeah, there are plenty of truly pointless workers, I’m not denying that. But doing stupid metrics like commit counting or lines of code per day is stupid and counter productive, and it emphasizes the out of touch and inhuman methods of corporate idiots
When your data “scientists” don’t understand the difference between causation and correlation
“We have to let you go as from our analysis you do mostly nothing, mr senior engineer”
1 week later everything is crashing and no one knows why
Ah yes, the classic evaluation of stupid shit that ends up shooting the company in the foot.
Double VPN, first one is orbot/psiphon and then your VPN.
Easy on Linux, not so easy on other platforms, especially non-rooted android or iphones
I see quite a few comments trashing this article, why?
It gives solid advice while reminding the reader that this is not perfect.
If I was Snowden this is not enough at all, but If I was an illegal immigrant in a country full of others like me? I think this article plus the final note about past data, does actually give a very solid advice.
I would argue that those who follow this guide, and take to heart the final notes and does something about past information (e.g move to a new address, change some habits, etc) would not be discovered in a mass deportation. Again, if you are an individual who is uniquely targeted by a government, this is not enough.
And yeah, they missed some points and this isn’t perfect, but anyone who is serious would do more research anyway, so I actually think this a good article.
Shit, I didn’t get the update to Earth 2!
Cashless can only work if you adopt a digital cash such as monero, other wise you are taking away privacy, control and possibly small transactions (depending on what fees are common in your country)
In a cashless society banks and credit companies become your rulers as you have no real way to bypass them.
I suspect that any country that tries to go cashless without a real cash alternative, will just find itself with a new form of cash (gold, silver, etc) since eventually there will be enough people trying to avoid fees and taxes
damn Telescreens
Very cool
Searxng, but there are plenty of instances already
Thanks! I love it, really works well from my limited testing!

That’s how I felt until about a month ago, now ddg is really useless
but black people are free practice targets to them
Ironically, the power hungriness of AI might actually do good for the environment if it normalizes nuclear energy.
Quite the twist
Dude, not having root is objectively safer, and grapheneOS is security first.
If you want a rom that gives you absolute freedom, there are those as well, but it’s not as secure.
P.S you can root grapheneOS, it’s just not recommended or catered to and while I don’t agree with their tone and the obfuscation of it, I don’t think it matters as it just completely goes against security.
Lol
Neck, but the bow would also look great if it was a little lower
