That was meant to be a reply to another post you’re right. Not sure how that happened. Whoopsies! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Edit: this was meant to be a reply to a comment on here about how the Dems/Republicans are the same where dude threw in a bunch of links to “show” stuff that the links didn’t actually show. So deserved down votes I suppose but will leave this here.
Not sure if they have a terrible memory, I think you just have poor reading comprehension. Just glancing through a few of the articles you sent trying to “gotcha” some poster(s) here shows you didn’t even read them. If you did read them you did a bad job understanding the material.
Just for the deportation example: Biden’s deportation and immigration enforcement was not the same as Trump’s now. Biden was aggressively going after actual criminals and he was working to create a path to citizenship for folks that have been here illegally for years and put down roots and contributed to our economy. Now we’re seeing ICE rounding up people for nothing more than their skin color and a “suspicion” they’re not documented. So, just straight up racism.
You included an article where the Dems wanted to keep the green party off a ballot, ok … And? They’re not trying to keep people from voting or suppress the vote. They were trying their best to not have a spoiler candidate on the ballot and felt that aligned with the state’s election laws.
Anyways, I wouldn’t call the parties the same when you can just look at what policies and legislation passed under Democrats vs Republicans. Easy example - the affordable care act.
Unfortunately true. Worth reading that snopes article just to see how much fucked up stuff was actually happening though. It’s not a mischaracterization to say they stole from kids with cancer through self dealing.
I guess the NYT no longer has an editor on staff? Who the fuck let that go to print, also who writes something like that into an article - that little paragraph where the NYT claims that “industry experts” said Chinese girls are better at assembling phones reads like cringe AI slop.
I feel like literally one person proofreading that should have been enough for them to go, “maybe don’t print the stupid racist thing about small fingers.”
It’s fine, nothing at all wrong with using just camera vision for autonomous driving. Nothing wrong at all. So a few cars run off roads or don’t stop for pedestrians or drive off a cliff. So freaking what, that’s the price for progress my friend!
I’d like to think this is unnecessary but just in case here’s a /s for y’all.
I did say fuck Nestle, didn’t I? I’m not really trying to advocate for them just from reading that excerpt I would be interested to know how much the company and its reps really knew about the drinking water situation.
Like, I’m very certain they didn’t do anything to help or to combat the problem, just curious if it was something they knew about and how it was handled. I can say for sure they’re evil and should have helped. It’s just I am thinking about who knew what and how much.
I guess it’s more of a thought and less of a defending them because I am not a big nestle fan. Although I do love their chocolate milk mix, reminds me of my childhood so I occasionally buy it because I’m a bad guy.
To play (actual) devil’s advocate … Is it Nestle’s fault the drinking water was unclean that was mixed with the formula?
That’s where I would say the whole, who’s responsible part of the equation gets fucky. To be clear, nestle should have done more to combat this and not have pushed formula feeding where they knew the water could be bad.
I’m not a fan of them by any means and would definitely need to read more and definitely know they’re evil (fuck I mean I’m pretty sure every large enough corp is evil, hell most of the small ones too) but it still gives me pause when it’s presented.
Just so I’m unequivocal here - nestle is bad and fuck them.
Humans won’t ever go extinct save some absolute batshit scenario that wipes the world completely clean of all life, give or take.
We’re too resourceful and we like fucking too much for humans to go extinct but it could be a pretty bleak existence for the human race at some point.
Maybe in our lifetime we will see an expansion of Medicare to be a single payer system for all Americans as a publicly available option (ie: the minimum standards other insurance would need to meet to be competitive).
That would be nice. Idk I’m just hopeful in like 25 years we may see some real change ushered in when it comes to that. Probably very naively hopeful but I have to at least occasionally believe in a better future.

Well that’s just solid policy right there, cum on.
Hopefully all 3 but as the other poster said, Nazis really were clowns.
Sure, Hitler had some early successes militarily - combined arms blitzkrieg was a new deal and effective - but it’s not like that won the war. Besides which there is just so much dumbass occult bullshit going on in the background with the Nazis like you would not believe.
You don’t need to be smart or super competent to get a bunch of people killed. You just need enough people willing to pull the triggers and for the rest of the people to go along. Going along is easy until it ends with shit like the Holocaust.
You gotta be true to yourself but a couple extra minutes, if even, to boot the game because of a launcher that’s integrated into steam isn’t that much of a biggie.
Shit after you launch if the first time I’m pretty sure you can skip the launcher popping up, may have to use a command line argument in steam not sure but it makes it so the launcher is basically non-existent at that point.
Anyways I don’t need to convince you, fine stranger, but I really would be remiss to not at least push another person to play one of my favorite games of all time.
Fuck rockstar but it’s 20 bucks for GTA:O

Fwiw
You’re robbing yourself of an excellent experience. Like, I get how annoying that shit is but RDR2 is one of the best games I’ve ever played. Still go back to it on occasion.
The world is so well crafted and believable and beautiful honestly there’s not many games that get me to just stop and stare at the scenery but RDR2 has that effect on you.
Bots probably already know that though because of what they’ve been trained on. Actually … Let’s see Gemini do it for us.
Not too bad.
I will vouch that even without the Phantom Liberty expansion Cyberpunk 2077 is fantastic. Phantom Liberty is awesome though, the story is intriguing and the new area is really well done. Everytime I visit Dogtown in that game I’m always like “damn this place is a fucking trash warzone,” the devs really nailed the vibes.
Anyways absolutely amazing game, and it’s half off it probably won’t go below half off for another year I’m guessing. Like you, I got into it after some major updates so I didn’t experience all the crap at release - to me the game is a masterpiece.
I don’t think you know the definition of the words “literal” and “communism” if that’s what you think.
Jesus Christ what is wrong with people… Microsoft giving in to a clear troll, surprised they didn’t just lock and ignore that shit and move on.

You can’t really keep them from getting back up, they won’t stay on their sides perfectly balanced because of the curves on their legs. Even so they could “kick” their legs to push them to be able to get back up.
Just in case you’re wondering in the future if that will work.
