I was trying or Linux for gaming… But I found using mods too difficult or annoying and switched back to Windows. That’s only for my gaming machine though…I use a Linux laptop for everything else

How often do you get new drives? I’ve been through 2 drives that store all my data since the last 15 or so years. I’m wanting to get a nas together now though but I’ve no server experience.

Mobile app has been the best YouTube app replacement I’ve found. And I just got the pop up about the desktop app on my drive home from work. Will for sure check it out.

I wish it more closely mirrored YouTube’s native video suggestions, but it’s pretty damn close.

I use Chromecast to watch jellyfin on my TV. My host PC is hardwired, and obviously the Chromecast is through WiFi

Depends on what you’re looking for? Common logins? A way of mass applying configurations and policies or to multiple computers? Way of doing centralized shared file stores?

I’m actually kind of looking for all of this. Everything there is currently Windows, but it’s kind of hard to upgrade everything without paying money haha. I was wondering if I could do a version of Linux because as a non-profit we have a free google workspace account. It would be nice to move away from the Windows teat(especially because we have a free productivity suite in Google Docs), but that might be a hard battle to win.

Ho shit! I never actually heard of this before, but I’m interested now. I’ve been using Fedora on my personal laptop…and have been wanting to switch to Linux on my gaming PC. I haven’t made the leap yet though as I’m not 100% comfortable being without Windows. I know dual booting is a things but I haven’t done that in a decade and would rather just have one OS on my Pc. Dude, so I used to think really highly of true lies. Then I tried showing it to my wife one night… Which she was totally down for.

I ran ltsc for a few months… Then I found it didn’t have simple stuff like the camera app? I forget why, but there was one all I really needed that I didn’t have, so after fighting trying to install it, I just want back to Windows pro. I might give windows enterprise a try though.

I’ve been with them for something like 7 years now. Started with 1gb of data, and now I get 4gb. I’ve never changed price tier as well. Over all really great service, bummer about the breach though.
