Probably the same people up there that prefer Lynch’s Dune to Villeneuve’s.
Probably the same people up there that prefer Lynch’s Dune to Villeneuve’s.
“Wooden performances” is the only way to describe the acting in Lynch’s. That movie is a confuding mess and painful to watch if you don’t know the story. A movie can’t simply assume you’ve read the book to understand it. People can only truly prefer Lynch to Villeneuve ironically. You can’t honestly think it’s better film.
When I worked at night it was the only place open 24 hours. Now the one by me doesn’t even have that going for it.
The future is that one where corporate oligarchy took over everything, dumbed down the population to the point of dumbing down their own posterity, and end up dooming all of society for immediate profit. None of the high paying or necessary jobs are getting done. It’s not the future we’ve reached, its the one we’re en route to, the time line we’re on, right down to the crocs.
Your optimistic turn out relies on some dope from now getting cryogenicly frozen, then forgotten about, who accidentally wakes up a few hundred years in the future.
You’ve seen the movie put didn’t pay attention to it. Your death hill is a dumb one.
I guess you skipped the first half of the movie. You might be exactly who the movie is making fun of.

Ha. Remember when Idiocracy was just a funny movie making fun of us and not prophecy.
I couldn’t do that with my Hisense. There was no way to move past linking an email.
Eh, I would say investment into R&D should be encouraged and maybe allow tax write offs. Even of the end goal is a private power source. Once that R&D turns into workable, operable, sellable products, then tax the fuck out of them. Perhaps disallow making things that can be a boon to public infrastructure from being deem proprietary, so that it can be more easily adapted to public use.
I dunno, I’m typing from my couch after a few beers.
There was a time where the tag line for Dark Souls was “Prepare to Die”
That’s a neat fun fact, but I didn’t buy Dark Souls, known for its difficulty, I bought Elden Ring, notable for its beautiful open world and complex meandering story.
Beating Malenia’s ducky dance or chasing the Elden Beast around the arena for half an hour is not as interesting as all the questions created by the multiple stories and characters in the world. Or how Marika has betrayed or been betrayed. How Godfrey was cast aside only to be recalled when The Order needed protecting. Or how Godwyn pollutes the world above his carcass.
No part of the story will be diminished if the player is given a slight edge in combat. The combat often isn’t even that fuckin good, it’s just pattern memorization.
Some of you try hards are just, ugh, go back and sit down on your shit bucket. The rest of us are trying to have fun with our video games.
I hate the Cybertruck as much as the next guy, but this could really boil down to just tire choice and nothing more.
Or, this sounds like tactical planning in case of an invasion, to prevent access of valuable resources to the invaders. Making it “need to know” makes perfect sense.
No there’s not, the scan thats been used has cropped out the nudity, it’s in like the second paragraph,
Usage of the Lenna image in image processing began in June or July 1973 when an assistant professor named Alexander Sawchuck and a graduate student at the University of Southern California Signal and Image Processing Institute scanned a square portion of the centerfold image with a primitive drum scanner, omitting nudity present in the original image. They scanned it for a colleague’s conference paper, and after that, others began to use the image as well.
You should risk reading the article before you sound like you don’t know what you’re talking about.
The article barely even touches want had been happening in Myanmar. The military coup, the rounding up and murder of civilians… but what about China!?
Not all personalities are likeable.
