As an American who had every kind of toy gun growing up, this ad still rubbed me the wrong way, and I wasn’t sure why until I read your comment. I think realistically, this is just a toy gun maker that has slightly modified their product so they can use the word “fidget” for marketing. Can’t say I blame them, but it’s still weird and a little too subliminal.
