Fancy pants. The only time I got online to check my emails was when the travelling bitwarden came around, usually in the spring. Unless the winter was hard and the pass was blocked.

I blasted through the campaign. If it’s anything like 4 I’m expecting 4000 good community levels.
IXE. It’s new and fun
I was looking for 3 months each time. I have like 15 years exp!
The article (as far as I read) fails to mention the that layoffs have hit then entire tech sector. Not just games.
I lost my job (iOS dev and actually a games dev job) twice in ‘24. I don’t think it is necessarily a reflection of the games industry.
There are some really nice games this year, if you know where to look. I’m playing Uncle Chop’s Rocket Repair and it’s awesome. So fun, so inventive, great visuals, mechanics and soundtrack.
Deadlock has also gotten a fair chunk of my time. I scratches the same itch as DOTA and a little bit of CS too.
Creeper World got a new instalment, too. Different from the 4 mainline games, it’s new and fresh and fun.
You say “open ended” but it’s not. Project Zomboid has one ending.
I don’t own a Deck, sry baeb.
Pop! was my first choice also. But it’s so locked down that if you want to, say, add another HDD the OS makes that a massive pain.
I moved away from it shortly after that.
I went with Bazzite. It’s built on Fedora and intended to be installed on both Deck and desktop.
It’s been working out well so far!
Running Ryzen 3000 and RTX 4000 hardware.
This happened to me. I tried to force the issue but it never felt the same.
Try some computer-related past-times. Blender is a great option if you want to learn how to work with 3d models. But it’s much more than that, you can use other people’s models and make digital dioramas or animations.
An alternate route leads you into 3d printing or industrial design. Blender is great for organic shapes, but something like OnShape is better for accurate part sizes.
You could pick up some programming, learnpython.org could be a starting point, if you have zero experience.
You could try digital art. There’s a world of knowledge out there for you.
Or, go do something unrelated to computers!
These things ebb and flow. Don’t force it.
Why do they shift from she/her to he/him halfway through the article?
Ai generated?
Not to mention the self image impact such things would have on women with smaller breasts, who (as I understand it) generally already struggle with poor self image due to breast size.
Wait, so I can just damage other people’s property?!
Could I interest you in some diagonal bracing today?
I didn’t even have a chance to be dismissive of the possibility before they killed it.
I can only imagine the level of sealclubbing that’s about to begin.
I’m enjoying it, have maybe 2 hours played so far. Seems worth the price of admission.
Will probably use it as a palette cleanser between games of Deadlock.
Will you please invest my money for me?
Ah, but you see the AI let us reduce headcount for full time employees. Reducing the budget for full time salaries.
Now we just spend twice as much on contractors and consultants, but that’s a different budget, so it’s not my problem.
