I was really hoping someone else said it already, but… is this really “Technology news”? It’s about a billionaire and advertising on his social media website.
Here to read the internet.

Wow that… Stings a little
Some of us still think Yugoslavia is on the map somewhere! I can’t find it! Where is it?!
OP title says “Winner:AMD” ?
back from the article: looks like Toms HW gives a winner per section and it goes back and forth. Matching/winning gaming with less power, I personally agree with OP title that it’s AMD. But article goes into a whole bunch of sections.
Funny enough, if you “need it to look like windows 7” Mint looks pretty close.
but yes, prior to October my house was 5 windows PCs. A couple weeks ago it was officially 5 Pop machines. No prior Linux experience, except for copy-paste setup of a pihole.
I know it technically counts and all, but it bothers me that “mobile” is included in “video games”. Mobile “games” are clickbaits and doomscrolls and it seems weird to compare them in the same graph as Nintendo/PC etc.
HOWEVER - in terms of REVENUE there is no denying how much money they make on mobile games! Probably due in part to the clickbait/doomscroll nature of them.
I also didn’t like the way Mint looked/felt, even though I’m aware of its popularity and good reputation.
I’m on Pop!_OS which is mostly a GNOME desktop, but they do add [remove] features and it’s very smooth and clean. I guess this is one of the miracles of “linux” where we can all be using “linux” but with 1500 different varieties.
Still hope it releases in NA soon, unless they plan to do a realm reborn type move I guess.
Edit: back from reading article. “Big update” is rolling out this month, and looks like the 1-year delay from Japan to global will benefit everyone getting the game later this year.
I’ll admit I was “only” 20 hours into NMS and I was feeling the staleness, but a lot of that is probably that I don’t know what I’m doing.
Luckily, I followed your advice before I knew it - I did already get to the anomaly and I did just start an expedition from that current save. I just got off the first planet on the expedition. One thing where I think I goofed is that I made the primary save too easy (all relaxed) and the expedition already feels more natural in that it’s not as easy-mode.
thanks again! I really like that the expedition gives me a clear “to-do list” which is what my brain tends to go for.
I didn’t know what that meant so I ignored it, I’ll go do it thanks!!
I might still try it soon, but… Ahoy matey and all instead. I just purchased NMS though so I’ll be doing that first.
I know it’s not “apples to apples” but swapping giant forktruck batteries (I assume they were lead-acid) has been done for decades too. I think we did it at Sam’s Club, at least for when the batteries wouldn’t charge.
Wouldn’t you have court fees to pay too?

let’s go GenTwo!!
Don’t try it! You’ll regret it.
I switched my kids’ PCs to Pop!_OS and other than “icons moving” yeah they didn’t notice.
Especially when they mostly use Firefox and Steam, and those are exactly the same.
Not to be that guy but I cold-turkey switched daily driver and I cannot believe I didn’t do it earlier. Total amateur “copy-paster” and the only thing I sometimes can’t get working are pirated games. Steam changed everything for gaming.
I still love that verification can reference. It was actually quite a bit ago but keeps getting more and more relevant.
Big oof, long listed game for me and now dead before arrival.
Luckily I picked up FF14 already.
