I switched to zed too. It’s not perfect but it’s just nice to use a different editor that is not sluggish.
Helix is much faster than neovim, but annoyingly it feels so limited. Can’t change anything about it.
But it’s supposed to get plugins at some point.
Yep I was thinking the same. I guess it’s a generational thing. Instagram is maybe like water to some young people, can’t be without it or life is sad.
Link doesn’t work. Probably it’s a scam/hack attempt.
Oh shit, should have checked the majority opinion before posting!
Whats your opinion on apples?
Well at least social media I guess.
Lemmy can be like this. Share an opinion people don’t like and it’s like you personally attacked someone. Lol.
Naah Path of Exile 2.
I live in Sweden. It was common with ethernet connections in the apartments when I was growing up. So not a time machine. But I could be getting the exact year wrong a little bit.
And it was 10 mbit connections, so that’s just about 1 mbyte / second. Still plenty fast when it arrived.
Today I have 500 mbit connection with option for 1000 mbit. It’s common here.
Edit: I asked chatgpt and it was 1999 that the first apartments got 10 mbit / sec connections. So I was off with about 5 years actually.
1995 or so. My first apartment had 10 mbit/sec internet. Was so cool to download anything in seconds. :)
The bait and switch classic.
I tried it on Linux and input latency is very low. I can feel how characters appear the instant I press a key. It’s faster than kitty for me.
When I run Helix under ghostty, it’s noticeably faster at drawing menus and filtering dialog boxes.
I will use it for a while. Fun with new terminals.
Path of Exile and Counterstrike both are over 1000 hours for me.
We are just passionate :) It’s such a great system.
I don’t care, it’s not relevant what they think.
I think simpler deployment should be on top of the list for next year. The microservice architecture scares quite a lot of people away and makes it complicated. If it was me, I would make microservices optional, for people who wants to scale their immich components. Most will never have the need.
I see it as a sign of health that people working with vaccines only use them when they are beneficial, and don’t use them when there are reasons not to.
I don’t know the reasons he has in this case. Would be interesting to know more.
They make a nice couple. Orange lizard team.
I’m honestly shocked that you have to ask someone if you can trust him.
He is without a doubt the least trustworthy person on the entire planet. Even less so than Putin i would say.
