The same can be said about the search results. For search results, you have to use your brain to determine what is correct and what is not. Now imagine for a moment if you were to use those same brain cells to determine if the AI needs a check.
AI is just another way to process the search results, that happens to give you the correct answer up front, most of the time. If you go blindly trust it, that’s on you.
And jump to the clone? Mozilla isn’t better (consider their recent Ad Privacy clone), they just have less market share.
That said, I use Firefox and Brave. Whatever I feel like at the time.
Brave has added a feature to explicitly enable MV2 apps and install uBo directly from Brave settings. You can also install uMatrix and Adguard MV2 versions also.
Um, if you’re security minded, you’re already staying far away from Authy, so I’m not really sure what the article’s focus is.
That said, I’m using 2fa all day long on Grapheneos. No issue. And prior to Grapheneos, I ran rooted and had been using Authy with no issue, so this kind of sounds like an advertisement piece for Authy.
So they get to keep their Ad Privacy malware and cookies. Sounds like that was their endgame.

But from the very beginning years ago, it was understood that when you post on these types of sites, the data is not yours, or at least you give them license to use it how they see fit. So for years people accepted that, but are now whining because they aren’t getting paid for something they gave away.
Actually that method in the picture no longer works, but there is a better, though still convoluted, method.
Of course, have fun adding repos and installing better versions of browsers in Linux.
Edit: When I said “better versions”, I was primarily referring to Debian, which installs FF ESR. You have to add repos and install the better FF standard.

If you knew what the sources were, you wouldn’t have needed to search in the first place. Just because it’s on a reputable website does not make it legit. You still have to reason.
