Apparently there’s a peertube instance dedicated to TIL-videos. Right now it seems very focused on tech/open source/linux videos, but there’s other content there as well, and they seem to accept video contributions if you have knowledge to share. Worth checking out if you don’t like youtube controlling everything.

    Thank you. I have trouble navigating peertube and finding good content and this is a step in the right direction.

        Thanks for sharing. This sort of stuff (a separate search engine to find stuff on another platform) is going to just be impossible to go mainstream with people, though…

          I think that’s just the nature of the fediverse. But yeah, I’d prefer a built in search that would search through most/all instances. Not sure how that’d work though.

          Sepia is the best I’ve found so far.
