    A couple of well trained dogs are better than cameras if you’re serious about security.

      They serve different purposes.

      Dogs are a deterrent. Cameras are (in most residential use cases) for catching someone after the fact.

        And the cameras don’t do much for catching either now that most criminals hide thier face. And even when you do catch a face, doesn’t do any good unless you recognize them.
